FIBIS has just been informed that a total of 91 reels were recently brought up from the storage area and placed in the cabinets near the corner of the Asian and African Studies Reading Room, near where the map of South Asia is mounted on the wall.  Apparently these films help fill the gap in the L/MIL/9/107-253 military recruitment sequence (Papers and registers relating to cadets 1789-1861).  The online ordering system should now indicate that they are available on open access whenever readers try to order them.
